Jeff Bridges past his prime
A potentially great movie ruined by Jeff Bridges poor "grizzly old man" performance. We all know Jeff Bridges can act, but his choice to shoehorn the same character of the "grizzly old man" into so many roles of later is just plain pathetic. Unlike John Wayne (for example), Jeff Bridges has not spent a lifetime basically portraying himself ( I hope Mr. Bridges is not the "grizzly old man", anyway). ... Where is the "The Fisher King", "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot", etc.?... Whatever....Read the book, I say, as the work is good solid '50's-'60's genre SYFY dystopia.... "Reasonably priced entertainment"

Great movie from a great book.
