A movie to look out for.

The THING DVD Review
I saw the original thing movie many years ago and it was very scary to watch it then, but this remake of the thing is even scarier than the first. The creature was something nightmares are made from, and I'm glad it isn't a real monster. I recommend this remake of the THING to monster lovers, especially if you liked the original THING movie. A favorite Sci-Fi film. Explains a lot of the odd things in the John Carpenter version. The special effects are really superb especially the stunts with the prosthetic monsters and the stunts with fire and flamethrowers. Very yucky looking scary monsters and interesting interiors of the alien spacecraft. Classic still great entertainment!

Lot of people didn't like this movie. Compared to many prequels that were .made decades after the original , this was far better then most.
