Very good Baumbach
As a great Noah Baumbach fan, I certainly got my money's worth with this one. It's a very realistic look at the question of divorce, and very well acted. There is plenty of content here with none of the cliches, so that it makes for a really absorbing human drama, which surely must reflect much of what happens to many marriages. This is not a bitter or violent film, but simply an authentic portrait of a frustrated matrimonial relationship.

Great!
Divorce is a messy and painful process to go through, this movie show this process. If there are anti-war movies, this is what I would say is an “anti-divorce” film. I also enjoyed the performancw of everyone in this film. If you’re collecting criterion films, this is an absolute must have.
