Must watch, must have.
This is a great movie about very challenging and important issues that seem "inevitable" during war. Using the animation platform for making such a movie is a brave choice with unique consequences. The innocence of the children is brilliantly expressed within the abstract animation frame, while the same context uniquely shows soullessness of war. The DVD quality is excellent. Amazing movie. Decent shipping.
Absolutely loved this movie, one of my personal favorite Ghibli movies. Great cost and the movie arrived sooner then expected. Although the movie was lightly scratched due to falling out of the holder during transit. The movie still worked perfectly despite the scratches thankfully. Amazing show - Terrible Shipment
The grave of fireflies is an amazing show. The disc is in perfect condition but, the place this was shipped from never said the condition of the case would be destroyed, and the cover a bit as well. The case was literally so broken it fell apart when I opened it so I had to move the picture (Cover) to a different dvd case I hardly watch. Splendid that words cannot describe

Best dramatic animation film ever!
This is a deeply moving and haunting account of two Japanese children caught up in the final days of World War II. It is a dark film but so engrossing that it reminds my of Ingmar Bergman's "The Virgin Spring." Highly recommended.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
