Braun 3040s Quality Product
Excellent, gives a very reasonable shave for the price. I shave everyday and have light/medium stubble. I also have very sensitive skin around the neck area so I'm unable to wet shave at all and have even had problems with electric rotary shavers but have had no problems with this. It compares very favourably with my previous Panasonic ES7101S model. The battery life is great a week so far and it charges quickly. The side trimmer is wide and pushes up into a good position. The Head is quite wide but that doesn't present any problems. With a little Talc applied to the face it gives me a very close shave without applying pressure.

Great shaver for s great price
This is a well built shaver with a number of useful features. Better than the basic 3010s and very competitively priced against the 3080s.

Great razor....check prices before you buy .
A good value product but BEWARE as the price that they are offered at varies wildly . I paid just over £30 but the less cautious could easily pay double that or more for the same product/model . Braun is a reliable make and my new purchase replaces an identical one that i`d owned for several years . Be aware that the cost of replacing the shaver head / foil is high . It`s cheaper to shop around and replace the whole razor , especilly as the cheaper ( non Braun ? ) replacement heads seem to be of poor quality .

Lasted 5+ years.
I had this shaver for 5 1/2 years and was happy with it until it started switching itself on without me! The battery started life with 10 shaves between charges and was still doing 7 at the end. I used it for wet Shaving. The recharging connectors got corroded - try to keep them dry! Wishing Braun provided a little cap.

Ok but not as good as my old Remington!
Shaver seems good for what I paid for it, but not worth the high street prices being asked. My old Remington three floating head razor, which I thought had died after over fifteen years but hadn't in fact, shaved far closer when new and continued to do so for a good number of years! Should have bought another really.

Cost effective deal
Braun razors are never cheap, the head replacement cost big money, so getting whole unit at a good price feels well good!

A Close Shave!
Bought this to replace a previous nearly eight year old version of the same shaver. I use it every day and the battery had started to lose its charge after three days rather than the specified seven. I have been using this updated version for a week now and it is every bit as good as the old version had been previously, if not slightly better.

Good shaver at the reduced price you can get it for. I paid £42.
Aa a replacement for my previous Series 3 shaver I am pleased to find that the on/off switch is recessed more to prevent it accidentally getting turned on when travelling and the battery kife appears better than when my old one was new. A good shaver even if some areas of my face need repeated coverage in different directions to get it really smooth.

Great budget price shaver
excellent shaver, this is my second one, i have had philips and remington in the past. Braun are the best shavers, they give the closest shave out of them all, not sure why there are some bad reviews, they must be using it wrong. Great buy
