works great, easy setup, great sound quality and pre-amp
Using it for home karaoke, and this is very easy to setup, hooking it up to a iPad through in-house wifi. The mixer also comes with ethernet connection and a build-in access point, which is great as it offers endless connection options for either a PC/Mac/iOS devices or Android. The control app is easy to use and understand once you get a hang of it. And delay is minimal to none. The mic pre-amp have lots of head room compared to my old analog Allen & Heath mixer. The build in effects are also great, and have 4 FX sends to mix in to the mic. And it makes the voice sound a lot like at the Karaoke bar. The mixer have a build-in fan and is very quiet during operation. The mixer stayed cool the entire time it was up and running. Overall highly recommended.

Crazy cheap, yet good sound and it's a Behringer?!?!?!?
I am NOT a Behringer fan. IMHO their products haven't been worth even their super cheap prices for over a decade. But wow, this little digital board sounds pretty darn good and has all the stuff you would need for a super low price. I have been using it's internal wifi system, which works pretty well. I need to fool around with getting it hooked up to my existing wifi, but so far so good. The software works pretty well on my iPad. Nothing for an iPhone...but I hear it has a Galaxy phone app.

Fantastic mic pre-amps, great control over each channel and overall sound. Soft controls are powerful and easy.
Unbelievable value in this little unit. Blows my mind what I can do with it. If you are a sound guy (even a hack like me) you will have no problem learning the interface in a pretty short time - and its worth the investment to learn it. WOW!!!

Great small mixer
We have a wedding DJ, Photography and Video service and this makes our job really easy. Now we just use a usb drive to record the speeches right out of the mixer. Being able to put a built in compressor on the mics is another great feature. If someone spills a drink on your iPad that you use to control the mixer all is good. Even if you have a hardware DJ mixer, just plug the outputs into this and use the mic pres for the you and the speeches.

Brilliant!
The flexibility at this price range in really amazing. Audio quality is great, app spread is easy. Connectivity and internal routing are great. I only wish I had the bigger unit for multitrack recording instead of this unit's 2-track stereo bounce. BUT even the 2-track recorder is routable and assignable. Well done.

XR12 is solid, affordable, small stage mixer; software is just a bit quirky, could use integration with X32/M32
Good design for small venue or event mixer. Really wish Behringer would integrate with larger X32/M32 consoles! I agree with one of the prior reviewers and believe the product deserves one less star because of some quirks and limitations. Here's our pros (+) and cons (-) list. Pros: + excellent quality sound + integrated support for Real Time Analysis (RTA) mic + good solid app on Windows and Android (not tested on iPad), cut down version of similar app on larger X32/M32 consoles + hard wired ethernet is great for control when using a laptop; you don't have the WiFi interference problem to deal with! + great size for use in small venue as a single box or as a FOH/stage box Cons: - ONLY physical control is a volume knob for the monitor channel (headset) - quirky when using WiFi: should NEVER allow you to select open wifi nor use old WEP encryption only as Access Point - should support 5GHz in addition to 2.4GHz and WPA2 when setup as Access Point - easily swamped with packets in busy WiFi environment when using XR12 on a local WiFi Access Point - DOES NOT integrate as a digital extension to larger consoles such as Behringer X32 or Midas M32 (it really should!) - looks a bit more durable than it is. Analog stage boxes can be drop kicked and survive, the X-air XR12, not so much! However with a bit of care and insuring you aren't competing on a busy WiFi channel, the remote control is very well done. The factory refurbished XR12s are hard to beat for their value!

Come out of the stonne age
*Absolutely cool, several hour learning curve to set up (i was no novice), but it is worth it, for the price of a stage snake, cabels and a few direct boxes, make your life easy, these are selling for 200-300 right now depending where you look, i look forward to using in a live situation soon, and to see how it will perform...

Great for small setups
I tested the Xair with a six channel setup and found it works great. A few "minor" bumps -- there were a few dead spots where there appeared to be no connection to the system from the Ipad, but moving 2 feet in any direction corrected that --- I was surprised that the android and IPAD interfaces are so different. On the android version you have "FINE" slider control mode, where the IPAD interface is much better at doing monitor configuration.. seems odd they are so different. All in all I am very pleased with the unit. I will be using it for a traveling church choir group.

Wonderful and easy to use mixer
Great mixer for music, karaoke, accoustic. It has very good digital sound effects to create wonderful sound and also has capacity to record your own music soundtrack. I love this mixer and recommended to 4 other firiends and they all loved it.

Product arrived as described. I am giving this 4 stars based on the difficulty of setting up a microphone without any apparent instructions. All tutorials are online, and if one does not have internet access, they are left out in the cold. Just my 2 cents, but great product nonetheless.
