Great GPS mount
The SP25MM17: 25mm Ball to 17mm Ball Adapter fits my Garmin Nuvi plate with ball socket perfectly. Nice tight fit with no wobble or droop. Bought a second one today before writing this review. Prompt shipping.

A must to use Ram Mount with a Garmin Navi
This 25mm to 17mm Ram Mount Ball is needed to use Ram Mount's windshield suction cup mount in conjunction with the factory Garmin cradle. This set up offers more adjustability than the factory Garmin cradle since it utilizes a fully adjustable 2 sided Ram Mount arm.

Works as it should! Highly recommended. For motorcycle mount, it is easy to remove and put back on.

Hard to find adapter
I have an older Garmin Area 510 with the smaller 17mm attach fitting. My RAM glare shield attachment has two 1 inch balls. I needed an adapter that goes from 1 inch to 17mm. This is the one and only one to be found, works great!

Garmin side of adapter is too small.
Garmin side (17 mm ball) is too small and it doesn’t hold my gps in place. My garmin clicks in and stay on the adapter but I can not leave it at the desire angle.
