toaster
Heats side 1 of the slice more than side 2, so we turn over the slice half way through. The control knob is black with the setting also in black. Difficult to see - so piece of white plastic stuck on to clarify. I would think that the designer has never used this toaster. Not quite bad enough to send back but would not buy again.

good little toaster
its a nice little toaster for the money only good for standard size bread .Bloomer slice wouldnt fit but for the price its good

Easy to clean and good quality toaster
There is disparity in heating-one side darker than the other on one slot-otherwise it toasts well. My one criticism is that the slots are not wide enough to fit a standard slice and the options you have, therefore, are to have a pale top border to the slice or to cut the bread in half and toast each part alone which would increase energy usage if more than one round is needed. This seems to be a common complaint in many other makes of toaster. Other wise, this is a good appliance

Smaller 2 Slice Toaster
Great two slice toaster that has been working well so far. It doesn't take up too much space and that's a bonus.

Inferior quality
I bought this to replace our old Russell Hobbs toaster which we've had for about 15 years. The quality of the replacement is vastly inferior ... very lightweight and tinny. Also the slots are smaller and don't accommodate slices of batch loaves. Very disappointed.

Russel hob toaster
Very disappointed that it doesn’t take a normal size slice of bread having to cut an end off to fit in. My other toaster took the bread size perfectly

Looks good, slots short
Will only just fit hovis in lengthways to toast the whole slice. If you like Warburtons don't bother, you'll have 1/4 slice untoasted sticking out of the top. Looks good
