Essential for older SCSI gear
Adaptec is well-known as the most reliable name in SCSI adapters and the 2906 is no exception. I purchased this card to connect a Syquest drive to my tower PC, which is just old enough to have one PCI slot. Although neither Microsoft nor Adaptec support the 2906 on 64-bit Windows, it's possible to use an old Vista driver with some INF file mods to get this card working.
