Best sound, wish they still made them
I have used these speakers or their similar BA-790 for 15 years or more and love the sound they produce. I have tried other "competitive" products and keep coming back to these. The sound is well balanced, clear with strong well defined bass that's never muddy. If you can find a set that is complete with the stands for the tweeters and haven't been too badly abused, they will quickly become your go-to set. Works great with TVs as well as computers and media centers. Too bad they got sold off to Gateway (who quickly killed the product). For those who are handy and have this product (or the cousin BA-790) with a woofer with cracked surround, you can replace the woofer with this model, available on Amazon: Goldwood GW-205/4S 5-1/4" Shielded Poly Woofer 4 Ohm.
