Security wheelclamp
I'm over the moon with this clamp I bought it as a paint damaged clamp to be honest it's meant to be left outside anyway so a paint smudge is neither here nor there. The point is it is quality made it does the job its meant to. I give it 5 stars all the way for strength, durability, and quality of materials that you expect from Maypole I highly recommend this clamp whether it be a paint fault or a best one.

Good value theft deterrent that's easy to use.
Does what it 'says on the tin'. Quick and easy to fit and remove with the key. If you intend to leave attached to a wheel longer-term, you would do well to carefully remove the rubber cover from the lock barrel, lubricate the lock, apply a suitable light grease to the inside of the rubber cover and carefully refit over the barrel. Take care not to push fully home to ensure that the cover's rubber cap fits snugly to ensure a water-tight seal. Overall, this wheel clamp appears robust and fits reasonably snugly on a standard 10" trailer wheel, certainly enough to prevent easy removal of either the lock or wheel. Whilst a determined thief, with the right tools, could undoubtedly overcome this device, as a hindrance or deterrent it should be good enough to divert the less well prepared onto someone else's vehicle/trailer!

Not adequate
Does not provide secure fit for an 8 inch wheel.Too much space around flat dish surface which allows access to wheel nuts so does not afford full security against removal. The round plate needs to be larger for this size wheel. All you can say is it is better than nothing. Very disappointing.

Maypole Wheel Clamp Disaster
It seemed OK when I fitted it to my Maypole Trailer. A bit of a sloppy fit though. However, when I came to remove it the key sheared off in the key barrel. Key metal either too soft or too brittle. I had no option other than to attack it with my Angle Grinder and cut through the key post. But being an Engineer (retired) I found a way of modifying the means of locking in position.

Quality better than expected and it fits well enough to do the job
Quality better than expected and it fits well enough to do the job. Only issue is getting it on with mud guard and mud flaps. You just need to develop the knack.

Could be better
Fits well after I had drilled an hole too clear the hub. As a visual deterrent looks good but steel quality is thin so you get what you pay for and this does what I had it for a visual deterrent.

Wheel lock
Very good and sturdy when fitted. A deterrent as very viable. A bit fiddly trying to fit around the tyre and inside the mud guard. But with more practice the easier it becomes.

Great Value fits my 10” wheels perfect great visual deterrent!
Great product and value for money , protects the tyre and covers the wheel nuts , the leg prevents the wheel from turning . Great Visual deterrent. A little tricky to mount if your wheel arch is close to the tyre overall a lot of bang for your buck 10/10
