Vans on Alnico 2 57 Humbucker Set
Got these to replace a set of pups from a 1980 Burny Les Paul. I have to say, they were much better than the price would have you believe! Solid bass, well behaved mids & no screech in the highs in either neck or bridge positions. Not too hot which means they can do the clean thing very well which is what I was chasing. These pups replaced a DiMarzio PAF in the neck & a Seymour Duncan SH4 in the bridge & they sound far more articulate & vintage than the big names in this guitar. Vintage sound for very little money.
Fitted a pair to my Ibanez Af55 hollow body that came with high output ceramics for some unknown reason - what a difference! Clarity and depth without loosing that growl when you increase the pick attack. I was so impressed that I ordered and fitted another pair to my Harley Benton SC450 plus LP copy which is now my go to guitar. I have just ordered a pair of the alnico V '59s to try in my Chapman ML2, at less than £30 definitely worth a punt.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Vanson ‘57 Alnico II Pickups
Absolutely love these. Bought them off the back of internet reviews (Vanson you really need to do your own YouTube reviews on your stuff it will take off) put them in an Epiphone SG G400 pro and it’s breathed new life into it. Also put a set of 59’ s in an LP style guitar and those are fantastic to. The quality of the pickups is as good or if not better than anything else I have nickel backed wax potted etc wiring diagram included is a bonus as is pickup ring with screws and springs. Great pickup for a reasonable price
Bought these to replace the standard pickups on an old Vintage SG. Have used the coil split feature with a couple of push pull pots and have to say I am very impressed with the range of tones now available. Sounds like a much more expensive instrument.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fitted to my Epiphone ES335
I never played this that much as my other guitars sounded better. I don’t know what the fitted pickups were (possibly alnico V) but I much prefer the sound from these. Highly recommended.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The sound of music
Bought these to replace my original hum bucker pickups on a build your own project. I found a massive difference once plugged in, no tinny sounds or buzzing and super quick response times. Fantastic Pickups
