A game that struggles to find its own personality.
I didn't really play the first game on the series. It felt like a clone of resident evil 4. While the 2nd is a different game altogether. It still struggles to build on its own ideas. It's a mix bag of other game ideas and they are done poorly in this title. It's a couple of the last of us gameplay and crafting. Mixed with silent hill horror and over the top storyline, while taken things from f.e.a.r with its jump scares. The game lasted me around 17 hours on my first play through. But I felt it over stayed it's welcome towards the end. For under £10 it was a decent experience. But isn't a solid game. There is issues with combat. Gun play is horrible and there's a big when an enemy is too close you end up shooting through them. The game is great but be careful with the dlc
