Good for the money, but...
The reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the factory edge is nonexistent. The entire edge is flat. Luckily I have the means to put an edge on pretty easily and quickly, but there are many others who don’t and they’ll have to take the time to put a real edge on it. The black finish on mine is very patchy, and the handle finish could be better. The handle shape is amazing. The teardrop cross section makes the indexing super easy and secure. Long time Cold Steel customer, disappointed
The handle is too small in diameter, the head to light, the head is also not tapered to fit the handle, the head wobbles,, somebody thought putting a set screw in the back the hold it in place was the answer poor workmanship, not the fault of the seller. I still carry the first cold steel knife I ever purchased back in the eighties good quality, two purchases prior to this from Cold Steel also disappointing , this will be my last purchaseBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great value tomahawk!
Put it to good use in the Colorado woods. Held a sharp edge and light enough to manage finer tasks. Definitely need to modify as heavy use loosens the small set screw holding the axe head onto the handle. Overall great tomahawk by a Cold Steel.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excellent design, I'd buy again.
The 90FH tomahawk is a very good design being light enough for most jobs. Expect to do a bit of handle fitting, edge shaping, and sharpening. Both being easily accomplished as design and temper are very good. Overall, a good axe for the money.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fun Item
I have bought several of the Cold Steel tomahawks. I strip the paint and varnish then decorate them with a wood burner and acid etch the head. I use them for decorations. Much better quality than some of the reviews would indicate
A very good value for the buck, which is why I bought my second one. Good for multiple purposes, and is just the right size for carrying on your belt. The haft is tough - made out of hickory, and the blade is easy to sharpen. Pretty good for the price
Pretty decent for the price... tho the handle is not very good... I actually made my own handle because the grain of the handle it came with crossed about half way down which would lead to an eventual break, but price considered it was still a good deal

Not As Advertised!
First issue I had was the product was NOT Cold Steel Brand as advertised. Been using their products for years, so I am familiar with the name. I received a Taiwan made tomahawk head with a 3.25" dull, cutting edge, on a handle that would likely break on first throw. Cheap poor quality tomahawk
