Excellent SAS solution.
Needed to add SAS raid capability to an HP Microserver GEN 8. The card was easy to fit into the motherboard expansion slot and performed seemlessly with this server, I also added a IGB battery backed memory module. I installed 4 X SAS drives and installed Microsoft Server 2016 Standard., no additional driver installation was necessary. The server is performing flawlessly, a very good result.

Great value
Excellent value. Fits nicely in a HP Microserver Gen 8 giving you access to RAID 5 plus with the battery backed 1GB Cache giving better performance. The one I got looked like new old stock as still sealed up and had the original firmware level which I recommend upgrading to 6.64 at least.

There in random errors
So strange. Random errors. Use with built in controller p410i.. failure in 90% of 100 power on... (( / But shiped devices was packed perfectly. I am - HP DL360G7.. I don't kknow, where is bug.. And without cache module server work ok.... And whith in - errors, look at photos . All server firmwares - last ones.

Important information
works perfectly in HP servers but for anything else you need a HP server if the firmware is above 1.33 and need to downgrade it, also worth getting a battery or a capacitor for the cache module ( and you can grab a 1GB one a well for cheap )

Doesnt work
After some day power on i have this: CACHE STATUS PROBLEM DETECTED: The cache on this controller has a problem. To prevent data loss, configuration changes to this controller are not allowed. Please replace the cache to be able to continue to configure this controller. Cache doesnt work correctly !
