Just what I was looking for to alleviate neck & shoulder pain from hours on the phone
I had been spending between 5 and 8 hours a day on a cordless phone at home and holding the phone to my ear for so long had started causing me to have muscular pain in my neck and shoulders (relating to a whiplash injury I suffered in a car accident nearly 10 years ago). As an initial remedy I started using the handset on 'speakerphone', but the lack of privacy became an issue for me. My first move involved looking at headsets that could attach to the 2.5mm socket on my existing Siemens Gigaset E49H DECT cordless phone, but I couldn't get any cheap headsets to work, and the manufacturer's compatibility list directed me to headsets costing between £40 and £60, with questionable reviews. When I saw this little Easy Clip I realised it was exactly what I was looking for ..almost too good to be true, but at £16.99 delivered it seemed worth a punt. Well I am glad to say it has proved to be excellent!. It connected to my existing DECT base station with no problems whatsoever. I find the earpiece is comfortable and clear and with it clipped to the neckline of my t-shirt, my callers have commented on hearing excellent clarity at their end since I have been using it. It seems to have the same kind of range as the original handset and the battery life seems similar too.The voice based menu operation works well ..it even tells you the caller's number if you listen on the earpiece while it rings. The only disappointment has been that I have not been able to transfer live calls between the original Siemens handset and the Easy Clip, but that seems to be an issue with the Siemens handset's functionality rather than the Easy Clip and I have only been using it for about a week and a half, so I might be missing a trick. Likewise I can't comment on reliability over such a short time, however it doesn't seem badly built to me. I genuinely hope it proves reliable because it really is the solution I'd been looking for.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
