Excelent Performance for a Mid Budget Gaming Laptop
I manage to get this laptop refurbished for half the price of a new one, I could not be happier, laptop arrived in great condition, few scratches on the matte surface, but other than that, everything looks as new. The first thing I did, upgrade to Windows 10, Windows 8.1 = Cancer, then removed all unwanted apps. Performance wise, it is a little slow to start, but i know this will be fixed as soon as I get an SSD. Battery life Is very limited, 1.5 hr on normal use, it is heavy and huge, but I don't mind, looks amazing and NEVER gets hot, the fans on the back have great cooling performance. I'm not a hardcore PC gamer, most of the games I play are on PS4, however, the ones I wanted to purchase this laptop for, are running smoothly, StarCraft II: -Graphic Settings: Extreme -Runs extremely fluid, I don't know how to measure the FPS, but never freezes or slows down, runs perfectly. Company of Heroes II: This game does have a test which includes the FPS. -Graphic Settings: Highest -Test: Average of 24 FPS. -Graphic Settings: High -Test: Average of 48 FPS.
