Tech wash
Great product when used before reproofed with TX direct. This stuff works it brings old jkts back to life and maintains gortex. I use it approximately 3 or 4 times a year. In my opinion it's worth the extra cost which probably works out at about £10 a year but that's maintaining 3 jkts and a pair of waterproof trousers i use 1 set of karrimor waterproofs for fishing and they do take some heavy wear and tear been going strong for 3 years now and their still beading and bear in mind this isn't gortex its karrimors wethertite breathable waterproof fabric the jacket cost £28 in a sale its a 3 in 1. Nikwax products keep my gear in tip top condition I've heard people say it doesn't work, either their lying because their promoting a rival product or their doing something wrong because NIKWAX WORKS 100% I always have a supply at home I'd hate to be without it.

The biz for cleaning outdoor equipment.
Standard detergents are too harsh for good quality outdoor clothing and equipment and can damage the proofing, but dirt on your gear can itself impair the water-resistance and breathability. So you need a good cleaner, and this is it: I've been using it ever since it came on the market, for jackets, overtrousers, tents..... Easy to use in a washing machine, or mopped onto larger stuff such as tents, and sometimes just a clean with this will restore the properties of the equipment. If not, Nikwax make a range of good re-proofing liquids for all types of gear.

Good value and works well
I do lots of hillwalking and my gear gets really muddy. This is the best way to keep waterproofs and fleeces clean without damaging the material. Always useful to have a litre bottle in the cupboard next to the washing machine.

Good if you use twice the amount they recommend.
I have tried using 150ml as recommended, a number of times and never, had good results. Used 300ml the last few times in my washing machine and then got clean garments. The main reason I always buy a litre bottle now.

The real McCoy
Bought this for washing all the families jackets and it's absolutely brillient and well worth the money. The detergent tray must be thoroughly cleaned before using this, but results are really good. No need for seperate reproofing as with other products

good stuff
excellent for washing goretex items, also for outdoor use to remove algae etc on a caravan. Eco friendly too.

Keeps me dry!
I have been using this and the 'wash in waterproofing' product for many years and find that my waterproof clothing performs better and lasts longer that that of my friends. I do think it is expensive but I have never risked trying alternatives.

Does a good job for me.
There simply is no better product out there. I use it to maintain waterproofing of my golf waterproofs. Goes back to the beading you remember from new garments. Happy to recommend.

Does the hob required of it.
I have been using these items for years on my camping gear and motorbike riding gear. It does exactly what it claims, it waterproofs things. It is a very good product and not overly expensive.
