Dear Whisky Connoisseur,this is the 3nd edition of the booklet that came with our &8222;Scotland&8217;s Distilleries&8220; map. A lot of intensive research has been put into the new edition of the booklet. The new booklet shows the Scottish whisky landscape from past to present: There are 853 entries in alphabetical order which are categorized into malt distilleries, malt distilleries in planning or under construction, lost malt distilleries, grain distilleries, lost grain distilleries and maltings, cooperages, central bonded warehouses, bottling plants.Every entry contains interesting facts on the facility as well as its exact GPS coordinates, when possible.The Distillery Finder - chapter 7 on page 33 - links the entries in the booklet to the respective maps from our map range. It is not possible to fit all entries onto one printed map.We put great effort into keeping our map range up to date and as complete as possible. If you have new or missing information on the Scottish whisky landscape, we would be pleased to hear from you.
