This is my personal experience/opinion. Humax seems to be best of the bunch (that I have tried) and when at it's best is 'the best' of a Digital Dilemma. All boxes tried have had to be 'reset' occasionally to get proper function Humax no exception. Run with 2 remote control units as they seem to be something of a weak link, thought it batteries and tried various combinations until I 'twigged' it's the remote unit.

Digi box with hard drive recorder
The Humax box is in good working order. Records films off you view very well. Good picture. Item came with a remote control and was adequately packed before posting.

Easy to get going and a good picture
Doesn't take long to set up. Remote and features a bit clunky, not as good as my old toppy but much better picture. Buy one!

Allround a excellent machine.
The `HumaxT1010` is a value for money `receiver/recorder , with or without a BT connection this machine is a `TOP HD` high definition 1080p viewing and recording box and is extremely good value for money. With a BT connection the sky is the limit for allsorts of TV viewing, all American sports, plus football etc...etc...there is no bad about this machine `its all good`.... much underrated Humax box. .....Henry...
