Perfect
I can't think of anything I would change. Instructions were clear and simple, it's made of durable material, wiring terminals are strong and grip wire firmly and plug is easy to grip, fits positively into receptacle. I'm so glad I didn't go with a cheap alternative.

Easy access for trolling motor
This is a good product. It came in just a few days. #8 wire is the largest you can use w/o trimming conductors. One thing I wish is they would make a way to purchase just receptacle or plug seperately.

It is a good product.
The plug and receptacle were not in it's original package. The screw on locking nut was binding on the threads. I did get it installed with a little effort. It works okay.

Great value for Minn Kota trolling motor plug and receptacle!
This twist and lock plug and receptacle combination is so far superior to the simple plug-in version that my installer had used. This style will not jar lose in choppy conditions and will provide a much more secure and consistent connection for better the trolling motor and the iPilot that I use. It was very easy to install. Documentation shows how to set up for 12/24/36 volt applications. My installation was simpler since the receptacle hole had already been drilled for the old plug-in that I was replacing.

Good value
I have used this plug on two boats now after finding the standard Marinco plugs getting high resistance faults and melting due to loose pins. I have found this plug to be well designed and secure.

Small and easy to install
Very easy to set up and the size makes it easy to find room to install it took less than a hour to install and works great

Minn Kota Trolling Motor Plug & Receptacle!
Excellent connection! Was having problems with another plug & receptacle that was connected by "Butt Splices" that was resulting in excessive heat !! No more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problems
3 star. I'll stay neutral on this one. But when you research and the first thing you find is,"as most of you know", and you didn't, that should be a hint. Will not except heavy gauge wire. Does not except the adapter well. Put some instructions in this thing Min Kota because the world is full of crappy, cheap screws, at this time.
