Still using the food processor after more than 20 years
I have stock-piled these bowls and lids for them because I love my Cuisinart Deluxe 11 food processor and it's still going strong after more than 20 years. I give the bowls pretty tough wear. I use the food processor for everything from pastry crust (use the plastic blade and it turns out perfectly flakey), to chopping, grating, slicing and creating french fries. Then I just throw the bowl, lid, and blades in the dishwasher and subject them to hot water and dishwasher detergent. They hold up very well. There USED to be a poor design on the lid of the bowl with 2 little ears on the sleeve which came down to lock into place so you could run the machine. They were NOT durable. Luckily the design was improved and the improved design fits my Cuisinart Deluxe 11 perfectly. The part numbers have changed slightly over the years, so you have to be careful with that, but you can still find parts - like this one - which fit the machines from more than 20 years ago.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Extremely Tight Fit on motor.
The tits on the base of the bowl are larger than my original bowl, making the diameter smaller and the fit extremely tight. I have yet to figure out how to shave the tits down. In all other respects, the assembly seems well made and usable.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
