Great Tyre
Must be the best tyre I have ever had on my bike. I might be pushing my luck but so far I have never had a puncture. The only downside is that they are difficult to get fitted so every time I get a new one it’s down to the local bike shop to get the work done.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Tough, good rolling, good side protection, excellent quality
These replaced Continental 4000S tyres. The Gatorskin is a tighter fit so be prepared to use tyre levers for the last bit when fitting. They are tough especially on the sides because just as many punctures happen there as elsewhere on a tyre. I'm in the Swansea area which has a lot of bikeways cos the Council wants to make the place into bike city and they are succeeding, but the roads are diabolical. Nothing is ever puncture proof but these Gatorskins are about as close as you can get and they roll along wonderfully. I wouldn't put anything else on my bike and I don't really care that they cost in the 25 to 30 quid zone. My bike is a Cannondale Caad8. SteveBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excellent Tyre!

Excellent puncture resistance and all weather tyres.

Simply the best for puncture resistance
These are the best tyres out there for puncture resistance. Not the lightest but you can't have it both ways. I've used these for years for spring, summer, autumn riding. Grip is good but not good enough for winter when I switch to 4 seasons, continental being my go to make. I'd sooner have a marginally heavier tyre than be more vulnerable to punctures. Generally I find when these do puncture they usually need replacing. Done LEJOG and Dover to Durness without a single flat. They also hold the road well.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Not puncture proof
I bought these 'quality' tyres in the hope I would get less punctures. Two rides later I had flat due to riding over sharp object. Good rubber for bad roads and winter riding.
