Brilliant, atmospheric mystery thriller
I first saw Road Games on television long ago, when it was shown one night, and I really loved it. I enjoyed its atmosphere, its sense of adventure, even though the story was dark and it was a bit of a nightmare for the main character, so perhaps I should say its sense of mystery. Stacy Keach is brilliant as the overworked truck driver, and it's also a fascinating look at the world of long distance truck driving. When I found it years later on blu ray, I had to get it, but I wanted it on dvd too, as an alternative. It is one of my favourite Australian movies, in fact, it is my second favourite Australian movie after Dead Calm. I would highly recommend this movie for anyone, who loves mysteries, road dramas and thrillers and anything of that kind. It is thrilling, entertaining and occasionally has laughs.
