Dune 21 review
This remake was entertaining. If you didn't know this story you would be lost. I got spoiled with the last remake, which had so much more detail, but was a 3 disc set. I am not a great fan of a 3 part series over multiple years. This was an ambitious undertaking. Hope they learn in the next sequels

Danger of making you fall asleep!
I am a big fan of the. Original dune movie, and was looking forward to see this as special effects are better, but I was shocked how they shorten The film it was boring and using Star Wars actors made it less believable as if it like a low budget film in my opinion it sucks and a waste of my time and money, sometimes you just can’t force greatness a second time

Dune 2??
I bought this movie with the original Dune and thought the 2021 movie was a continuation/sequel to original Dune but to my surprise it is a re-make of the original movie- same story line but different- as it explains more on what is going on and more modern digital effects- it is a little shorter movie than the original as they cut out alot of scenes that was in the original- It has sub-tittles and shipped quickly.

Not worth watching
I think the big hype of this movie was Jason Mamoa . He really had little to do with it . It was a very long drawn out boring movie . Even the ending left you hanging . Not worth watching again . The original movie is still far better than any remake .

Dune , in a new light!
I enjoyed the Movie having seen the previous versions and understanding what the story is about. Looking forward to part 2.

Simply a great film
I was a big fan of the Dune books many years ago. Not long ago I got and later reviewed positively the first Dune film done by De Laurentiis and director David Lynch decades ago. Recently I bought the Villeneuve Dune, which is the first part of a two-film offering. I guess the second part is now finished, but I have not seen it. I was surprised at how much better this film is than the earlier Dune. It has great flow and beauty. Everything about it is outstanding. I am eagerly awaiting seeing the continuation. I can heartily recommend this film to all.

The Dune story masterfully rendered. DVD in top condition.
Villaneuve has done for Dune what Jackson did for LOTR; perfectly captured the story on film as no one had done before. Inextricably woven into Zimmer's haunting score. I only wish I had seen it on the big screen. Will watch this DVD many times. Arrived promptly and in top condition.

A bit of a let down...
The movie was short. It did not go into detail and lighting was dark. I hope the next chapter is up to snuff.
