Validation that they are one of the best bands of all time!
Fantastic set of Chicago's first ten records, which covered their most creative era. A must have for any Chicago fan or fans of seriously great music! The diversity, depth and complexity of their art form is like no other band. If you like jazz, rock and the fusion of both, this will certainly grab your attention. if you are looking for sound quality this is for you 10 great albums at a great price these are CHICAGO's greatest recordings .if you are looking for original linear notes and lyrics buy the regular versions of these cds and at this period in time finding them is an issue and if you do find them the prices are very high .16 to 26 dollars for 40 min albums that some are well over 50 years old way to expensive for linear notes and lyrics.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A box set by a great band well worth the price .

Perfect package from the classic era!
What an outstanding box set! Been scouring flea markets for years to scrape up hacky-scratchy vinyl copies of some of these classics and now here they all are in pristine digital condition. Chicago great set
Well if you remember Chicago from the pop rock ballads of the 1980s then you are missing a treat. Here we have Chicago with lots of horns and Jazz improvisation an absolute blast of early to mid 70s rock. If you think of those marvellous 70s movie soundtracks you are not far off this wonderful set. Top quality fun music. Buy and enjoy. Is there a negative? 10 Chicago CD's with great sound
The songs are remastered well and sound very good. You get Chicago's first 10 CD's with a handy foldover cover and the 10 CDs inside, each with it's own album illustrated cardboard sleeve. bad edit job by RHINO
Shipper did a great job of getting this here fast. My only complaint is with the recordings themselves. Chicago early on split their songs into suites where one piece of music is split into multiple cuts. Chicago's best work.
The best of the "original" Chicago sound: rock/jazz/and lots of horns. I already had most of these in either worn out cd's or lp's, but it was time to update the quality. The only down side, is it seems there is a compatibility issue with the UK version.
