Best drama in years.
Love good drama and this series epitomizes it. Excellent treatment of the agonies of addiction. The manipulation, the lying ( as they say, "when do you know an addict is lying, when their lips are moving"), the effect on those who love the addict. While portraying the horrors of addiction, this show also allowed us to feel the pain of the addict. No child dreams of becoming an addict when they grow up. It is an insidious, cunning, and baffling disease. However this show also uses humor and the spirit of the human to shine through. even when we don't live happily ever after. Kudos to Edie Falco, Anna Devere Smith and the rest of the cast. What talent!

Show is starring Edie Falco That having been said. The thrust of the show really copes with medical staff as their own lives are impacting their ability to help others. Good drama perfect consideration for shows writers. without spoiler alerts not much can be said. If you want to be entertained watch nurse Jackie

We're hooked!
Fabulous series. We were absolutely hooked on this show (no pun intended) and couldn't stop watching it. Absolutely loved it.
