It’s great for speed only
Fast, and fun but all plastic parts, don’t hit anything did a jump and broke entire right front end off truck, looked like someone put a firecracker in there...and there’s no upgrade kit so the truck is great if your racing around just don’t jump or hit anything The picture shows how it broke apart from a 1 foot jump

Could be 10 stars
Awesome car, super fast and fun was one of my favorites until the spur gear stripped and I learned that every part for this car is dis continued. For that reason dont buy cause it has to much power for the plastic spur gear and it will not last regardless of mesh.

Lovin' it!
Returning RC buff - used to race 1/10 off road and dirt oval. 30 years ago! Bought this for the large 1/6 scale size, but lighter weight of a 1/8 monster truck. Handles great, plenty fast for the space I have, and I get about 25-30 minutes of play time from a set of 6500mah 2c lipos. Recommended!

Big Truck for Reasonable Bucks!
This is big! The Shredder really is a larger scale RC truck at a reasonable price. The chassis is well constructed and, except for power, it's ready to go out of the box. Though the large wheels overshadow the linear body, the body is still a decent size. The huge rear spoiler adds another couple inches to the length and a little to the height of the vehicle. You will need to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger separately, so total price will be around 5 large.
