Nice but quite flawed
The machine work is great and the part is quite nice, but the spring included with the Hot Racing bellcrank is too tall to provide any shock absorption when installed and fully tightened down. When compressed, the Hot Racing spring has no room to provide any cushion to the steering servo and the servo saver functionality is gone. I was able to disassemble the Hot Racing bellcrank and swap the smaller OEM Traxxas spring in which allowed the servo saver type movement. A part should not have to be modified before installation to correct its intended functionality.

This part looks nice. That's the only thing positive about this. I bought 2 of those, and I won't use them. Why? 2 reasons. 1: there is a slack at center. meaning your wheels will wiggle and you won't drive straight. 2: the force needed to disengage is way too strong. Even full of grease, it hurts my fingers to get it to disengage (and just can't without grease). So it will kill your servo and/or gears. So yeah, good idea, but garbage. Sad. Seller says its fine and I'm the problem.

Good item, but need some rebuild
This item need to refine: 1. Too long spring, doesn't suitable for this steering kit. Servo saver doesn't work absolutely. You can use original servo saver's spring. 2. Low accuracies, steering has gaps in servo saver, so if you want clear steering then you need to use spacers (I used with 0.05mm thickness) between halfs of serveo saver.

Really good so far
Put it on my 1/16 slash and i was tough getting it on but looks great on it!
