Good value
I like Lee Products, I know they stand behind what they make. This press is about as simple a machine you can make to do the job which is good but has some quirks. It works well for me, I can crank out 38Spl plinking loads very fast. With a couple parts swapped, I can crank out 45Acp really fast. This press is about mass production and speed and does gives up little in precision, you can still adjust your dies like on a single. Powder dispenser is very consistent however, the adjustments are rough, you change out a disk to change the volume and there is no in between sizes, ie, if you want a 5 grain charge, the disks provided might give you 4.8 or 5.2, you might be able to get creative and mill your own. The only negative thing I could say is the instructions are somewhat vague. If you have some mechanical aptitude and reloading knowledge you shouldn't have any trouble.

Lee Pro 1000 - 2018 model
I watched u-tube video's, set ups & tips on the older model, where they discussed the flaws and how they remedied the issues. It was interesting to see where the upgrades where made on the 2018 model. I got this press set up to do 38spl. Also got an extra turret, shell plate and dies to do 9mm. No tools required to change turrets, just turn n pull up. I also got the bullet feeder & 4 tubes. This press is very well engineered. I'm very impressed with the Lee pro 1000.

very complicated
it works ok but the primer feed system is a total pain the rest of the machine is not to bad you do not want to use this if you are just getting started into reloading it will make you want to quit it is not easy to set up and make all the adjustments

Superior product.
Super fast reloading. Trouble free and works as promised. Lee could improve their setup instructions a lot but anyone that reloads can figure it out pretty easy. Great product and very reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.

Simple to use and set up
it's under the tree, haven't opened it as yet, but have used a Lee Progressive 1000 since I started loading in the 70s, they work very well. Only three positions but I clean, recize and prime my brass, and set it aside to reload later, to 3 positions is fine

Great re-loader
Had to read the instructions a couple of times to get the re-loader ready to use. Easy to operate.

bad engineering
shell cases stick in powder thru die lots of trouble with chain took long time to get primer feeder to work

Great fun!
Have loaded about 250 rounds so far. It works, and when it's working it works well. It's a bit fiddly and you have to pay attention to what all 3 stations are doing all the time. Fantastic unit for the money!
