Charges both types of batteries
I have had a Craftsman 19.2 volt set for about 10 years now and have been happy with it. After several years, the batteries went dead; I revived them once, and then bought another set. After 10 years and two sets of Ni-Cad batteries, I decided to try a Lithium-Ion battery in my tools. It fit perfectly and ran the tools better than the Ni-Cad's ever did. The only problem is that now matter what I tried, the old charger wouldn't charge the new batteries. When I saw a good deal on a 19.2 Lithium-Ion charger, I jumped on it. After I unpacked it and read the instructions I saw that the new charger can charge both Ni-Cad and Lithium-Ion batteries. So, now I only need one charger (the last set of Ni-Cads are still useful for somethings), and my tools have a new lease on life.

Battery charger
4 stars instead of 5 because the pics show a battery with the charger. I thought great I can use another battery during roofing projects where the drill will run in metal screws to fasten the tin on roof. I had high hopes that the battery would work great. The description said battery included, used approximately 10 times. I had identical battery already at home and was very happy with it. Performs great. Last very long on each charge. Well the battery sent to me wouldn't accept charge and the battery charger indicates it as defective! Oh well.... At least the charger does a wonderful job on all of my other batteries. Thanks :). I'm pleased with the entire experience except for bad battery. It was just kind of an add-on with the sale.

Good charger for good system.
After some digging I found this to be the charger for my type of 19.2v craftsman compact lithium C3 batteries . Another charger didn’t recognize my particular battery and said it was bad. I knew they were good . There are several charger, just find out which one works for yours. This charger does the job!!

It fixed my old NiCad battery
I bought this with a LiOn battery b/c one of my NiCad batteries wouldn't charge in the old charger - "Defective battery" error. Not only did this charge the working NiCad and the new LiOn battery - it fixed the "Defective battery"! Awesome!

Nice to have dual charge flexibility
Now I can use my Craftman 1/2" cordless hammer drill using my lithium battery. The charge lasts a lot longer with that battery.

Great Charger
Works great. Was able to charge both Ni-Cad and lithium batteries. Solved my need for two different chargers.

Craftsman 19.2 volt charger.
Real Craftsman charger, not a knock off brand. Works for both the old and new 19.2V batteries. Other chargers showed a lot more reviews, but when you looked at them they where not for the charger advertised. Would recommend this over the others.

Craftsman 19.2 Volt Lithium-ion & Ni-cad Battery Charger
Just the kind of charger I was looking for. It charges both the Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries. Great product and highly recommended.

EXTREMELY GRATIFIED AND DELIGHTFULLY WELL PLEASED.
I HAVE A FULL COMPLEMENT OF "CRAFTSMAN" WIRELESS ACCESSORIES. TWO OF THEIR "BATTERY CHARGER" UNITS FAILED. THE COMPANY NO LONGER HAS THAT PRODUCT AVAILABLE, WHICH WOULD RENDER THEIR TOOLS USELESS. THEY SUBSEQUENTLY RAN A NEW LINE OF THEIR SIMILAR PRODUCTS NO LONGER COMPATIBLE WITH THEIR PREVIOUS LINE. A DEVIOUS WAY TO FORCE A FORMER CRAFTSMAN USER TO NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCT AGAIN.! I FOUND AN AVAILABLE "BATTERY CHARGER" ON EBAY, MY TOOLS ARE NOW OPERABLE AGAIN....THANKS TO EBAY!
