Cool old school degausser/ eraser
If you really want to zero out your analog audio and video use a device like this. It is best to do this rather then record over old audio so you don't get shadow sounds.

Works like it should
Product works as it should, except it gets hot very fast and will not operate again until it cools down. For as little as it is being used, I can put up with that.

Realistic 44-233A video/audio tape eraser
Great Demagnetizer. Good for recording tapes and in my case demagnetizing stainless steel mole traps. You can probably demagnetized watches with it and tools too.
