This is a vintage CD player. At first, it seemed not to work well. It merely turned on and played the first number on the CD. No other function worked. But, after many tries, the functions of the player all worked well. I've seen this before: if a vintage item has gone unused for a while, it takes a bit of time for all the functions to wake up. Now, it plays beautifully.
