Good but..
It does what it's intended. Having a 1911 it sure does help. However it's made of plastic. So when it's rubbing against the metal of the gun, it leaves little shreds of plastic inside the nooks and crannies. Excellent 1911 Bushing Wrench Tool
I looked at a number of bushing wrench tools before deciding to try this one. Didn't even know if I would want one but decided to give it a try. Turns out that it's a very cool tool. Well made, heavy duty plastic will not mar finish on gun or barrel, fits well and does the job with ease. Would definitely recommend it to a friend. did not cost a lot , and its lightweight and a great addition to my gunsmithing tools
its works great to take the barrel bushing apart from the 45, because the tolerances are so tight on the springfield & the rock island . and the bushing wrench will not scratch or mar the metal on your gun and thats a plus, and it did not cost a lot ! great addition to your gunsmithing tools to work on your 1911s.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Wilson Combat - Enough Said
These from a different maker may be cheaper somewhere else, but this one is sturdy and has both sizes for different bushings. Also large enough to get hold of without slipping, and wide enough to hold the retainer spring in place until you're ready, so it doesn't fly across the room. Barrel Bushing Wrench
Anyone with a commander or full size 1911 knows what a pain it is to remove and replace the front barrel bushing and the recoil spring plug, especially if you're doing a full size guide rod. This is a must have. For both the price, piece of mind, and aggravation.
