High-quality and functional
Although at first glance, the watch appears a bit excessive, the design and materials used are minimalist and clean. The depth of the watch face and beveled interior edge give the watch a precision-crafted look. The watch face is reminiscent of an airplane instrument panel, and the leather is genuine. The Indiglo feature and chronograph allow the watch added functionality despite the watch having no digital readout. Unlike a digital watch, the Timex expedition field does not make sounds, so for testing environments, the chronograph can be used without disturbing others. The watch face itself is somewhat heavy, but can be solved by tightening the strap.

First Chronograph
Awesome chronograph. First one I have owned. Great for my walks and exercise programs. It looks great and I have ordered a black stainless band, which, I believe, will improve the looks even more. I highly recommend this watch for anyone who wants to get an inexpensive, yet very accurate chronograph.

Great looks and functional
I love this watch, so much so that I bought two of them; one in the brown scheme and one in blue. The watch is well built, rugged and keeps time well in spite of being exposed to extreme temperatures and high vibrations. On thing that kept me from giving it five stars is a pet peeve of mine: I want to see the seconds hand land on the mark. For example I don't want to see that hand land between marks when I'm not sure if its 10 seconds or 11 seconds. Both watches do that, sometimes they fall right on the seconds mark, sometimes they don't...

Best watch Timex has ever made. Well made, great features, affordable. Rolex? I don't need no stinking Rolex. I've got a Timex Expedition!!!.

Elegant and classy with nice balanced dial.
I bought the watch with the intention of making it my beater watch because it was quite cheap and because timex had a brand history to it but when I got the watch I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and nicely balanced tones of the watch and is leather band. I found the watch to fit casual outfits very well and attracts a lot of compliments. Indiglo is a huge plus point. The bad is that the black case can be scratched easily and the glass too but at that price point it is to be expected. Overall this is a nice, stylish watch which will please anyone buying it. ST

Very nice watch with military design. Great colors. There is also lighting available. Strongly recommended. Cons: stopwatch buttons should have click effect to signal for successful stopwatch starting. Its not always clear when stopwatch has been started and need to take a look on display.

great watch for a hectic life
(Comfortable) strap not long enough, but possibly I have fat wrists. It is really nice that when I wake up at night I can use Idiglo and be able to see the time no matter how dark. Watch keeps perfect time, and looks great on without looking junky or gaudy. The watch looks professional and down to business and is easy to run.

Understated and Highly Functional
If you like the chronograph style, this is arguably the nicest watch in the Timex collection. Understated and highly functional it's a great daily-wear watch.

stylish watch
wonderful watch. My only complaint is that I wish the strap was a bit longer. I have an 8" wrist and the strap is just barely long enough on the last hole. Other than that i really like this watch.
