Absolutely fantastic recreation of a Roland classic
Released at about the same time as the venerable JUNO series, the Roland JX-3P was a lower-cost keyboard that featured the same VCA and IR3109 low-pass filter as the Junos, but with different DCO's producing the sound. Because the sound generation came from slightly different DCO's, the JX-3P had a distinct sound. I had one of those back in the 1980's and loved it. The JX-03 is a digital recreation that manages to perfectly mimic that classic Roland synth. Even better than the original, it provides lots of knobs and control. The JX-3P was basically a preset synth, since the only way to program it was via the optional (pricey and hard to find) PG-200 programmer. The JX-03 also has extended capabilities, like a larger oscillator range. The step sequencer is also a lot more sophisticated than the original. The only drawback is the polyphony: the JX-03 is limited to four voices, while the JX-3P had six voices. Great unit
Very nice sounding synth module - well designed and with plenty of useful programming features. My only complaint is the use of mini jacks for audio in/out - and the use of a *micro* USB connector - this is the same used on the Samsung Galxy S7 phone, for example. Physically speaking, there is plenty of room on the case for Roland to have used standard USB port as well as 1/4 jack connector. This is obvious since they use standard MIDI IN/OUT ports. Also, if you have big fingers, as I do, turning the knobs can be quite challenging. Other that those two relatively minor "complaints" the unit is a great tool for music production and live performance. The newest firmware allows it to send and receive MIDI CC from each known/slider which makes it great for recording "moves" in your DAW and or send it to other synths. The sound is beefy enough to be used alongside even vintage analog synths without it sounding "thin". The extra features, such as on-board sequencer, chorus really make it a no-brainer. If you are looking to add to your rig, or even to get into learning synthesis this is the unit to get.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

Alles perfekt.
