Would have been a great value but...
An excellent keyboard except for two problems. First, the part of the key that shows special characters (@$%&, etc), isn't illuminated, I don't have those memorized. Second, and the most important, is that the default is "breathing", that is the lights cycle from full to off and one cannot change this without going on line and loading a program. This had to be a corporate decision aimed at growing Razer's data base of users and a way to market other products, which while irritating is understandable. The problem is that the "legacy" program wouldn't load and activate on my Windows 10 PC, even with online help from a Razer tech (who was very nice). We tried for nearly an hour even downloading and using a program that allowed the tech to run my PC remotely. I tried using the keyboard on a Windows 7 PC and was able to load the program and adjust the lighting and then switched back to my Windows 10 PC and the reset stayed, but I cannot use the other game specific features, so what I have is a lighted keyboard with very good mechanical keys. Luckily, I got it at a bargain price. I wonder what happens to folks with newer keyboards when Microsoft comes out with Windows X - If my experience is any indication, I have serious doubts about Razer Inc's cloud based support for folks who upgrade to a Windows X PC that want to keep using the Razer keyboard they already have. Gamers choice
Can't describe how pretty this keyboard is. Almost don't want to push it to the edges while gaming, that much beautiful. I was sceptical when Razer stopped using cherry mx blue switches but Razer's it's own production of green switches are almost the same (I'm kinda sure you can't tell the difference if you're not trained and tested both side by side for a long time). Awesome design, flashy backlid, braided cables, razer synapse compatibility (can configure every single key basically) and so on. Excellent keyboard
