Perhaps influenced by Her Interactive's popular Nancy Drew series, Ubisoft takes its own series of girl-focused games the teenage sleuth route in Imagine: Detective. Players assume the role of Kristin Spark, a 14-year-old high-school student with a penchant for solving mysteries and pursuing justice. Gamers will not only help clear Spring Hill High School of bullies, but they'll also use their investigation skills to rid the entire town of bandits. In addition to gathering clues, taking pictures of evidence, and interviewing witnesses, players will partake in a variety of mini-games, including "Spot the Difference" puzzles, fingerprint analysis, and tangram matching. Imagine: Detective also includes a faux social networking site that keeps track of all in-game findings in a virtual blog, with gamers gaining popularity as they solve more mysteries.
