Once installed, the Mobley allows you to connect up to 5 WiFi capable devices to the AT&T 4G LTE network while in your vehicle. The device boasts a Qualcomm MDM9215 processor and speeds of up to 100mbps and 50mbps for downloads and uploads respectively. Check for a firmware update first. This device may not be necessary.
I've have my Mobley for 3 months and had a timer set to drop power for a minute every 2 hours. I bought this to eliminate the drops and it does what it says it will do in a clever way. However, in the short time between purchase and arrival, AT&T updated the Mobley firmware and there is now a "no time out" option for the power saving, which is exactly why a device like this was needed in the first place. Great option for wifi in your vehicle for $20/month unlimited... IF...
Excellent product. Pricing for this AT&T device is advertised on their website at $20 month for unlimited data (subjected to slower speeds after 22 GB in areas of network congestion if I understood that correctly). Where the IF comes in.... is IF you can happen upon intelligent life in the AT&T online, customer service phone service centers, or corporate stores that can read their website and follow instructions from the customer to contact their own connected car department for activation. Words of advice: request AT&T's connected car department and demand the connected car unlimited stand alone plan and don't give up; it's worth it. It took me 4 days, 2 visits to a corporate AT&T store and literally 4.5 hours of working with numerous CSR's to finally walk out with the $20 unlimited data plan on my Mobley.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

AT&T Mobley lives up to its billing
I have been using this device for about two weeks as I travel on the road a lot. The Mobley has worked very well and does exactly what it's supposed to do. My cell plan has WiFi calling so it has been a godsend when I'm on a lousy T-Mobile area, of which there are many. Great product and a great value
I have had the VM6200 for about a week now and I am thoroughly satisfied. The unit seems to work flawlessly and provides decent wifi speeds. At $20/month for "unlimited" data (there can be reduced speed after 22GB), it is a real bargain. Highly recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Amazed how well it works

Works well

Firmware issue
If it did not have the firmware upgrade it would be a fantastic item. Works great ontil it turns itself off and on a long trip you either have to stop and turn vehicle off and back on every two hours or unplug from obd2 then plug back it and reset everything.
