This is a NON-Datacolor supported item
I contacted Datacolor to request assistance getting this item setup. I was informed the Spyder products sold in a plain white box with no product name or disk are ones sold to 3rd Party companies and are not supported by Datacolor. Can not get a License code for this product. This item is useless. True Spyder4 but need 3rd party software
This item is just the Spyder4 hardware. This is not the Express version as it has an ambient light sensor and is black. It comes in a white box with no CD or any paper work what so ever. I'm guessing this was meant for hardware replacement. As there is no software, you'll need to use a 3rd party software such as DisplayCal (freeware) for this to work. The good news is that many reviews say DisplayCal is actually more accurate than the OEM software. As the other reviewer rightly said.. Datacolor probably does not support this product.
