reassuringly solid
This is exactly right for the job, solid and heavy enough not to move when placed with its underside batten on the edge of a work top or table. It holds the lino securely and makes cutting so much safer and easier.

Functional and reasonably priced bench hook
A Mdf hook board. I might varnish it. II prefer a v cut into the wooden bar at top ,but a very good price.

A bit rough to touch, but does the job
It completely does the job but it is quite a rough texture and not as nice to use as another I have which is much smoother to the touch
