Perfect replacement
I received my original turntable of the same model for my 21st Birthday (I'll be 49 in November) so it had been through a fair bit, including four house moves. The hinge on one side of the lid eventually gave in the other week and the automatic action of the arm had gone some time back. This replacement turntable is cracking value and will probably see me good for many more birthdays to come, along with the rest of the Technics system. Good bloke to deal with

Good basic record player
