Low profile/impact with good performance. If ground mounted, install lotsa radial wires!
This is not my first 6BTV antenna. I had one that i mounted on my roof at my former QTH in Franklin, NC about 25 years ago. With 2 elevated radials for each band I worked DX around the world, including Heard Island on 20 and 40 meters. Great antenna even with the solar minimum
Great antenna even with the solar minimum. I was able to get two new countries the first day (Antarctica, Hong Kong). Recommend using the tilting mount. Using chain link fence as ground plane. A bit unorthodox but it works.
