It features an eight-point fully adjustable throttle curve and programmable RPM limiter. It also allows you to record data in order to optimize the motorcycle's performance. Nicely made, breeze to install, functions as advertised.
I bought a Dyna ignition coil (the instructions recommend them, which makes sense as Dyna is the OEM for the Ultima) and had the swap done in an hour. Static timing with the LED is easy and no further adjustments were required. (I checked with a timing light afterwards.) Keeping it real, points with a good mechanical advance work fine but I wanted to check one of these out so I did. The included crimp connectors are better quality than the usual auto store sh1te. I used bare connectors covered with heat shrink tubing instead because I prefer them but the included parts are fine. The wire bundle is long enough for you to route properly. If your stock Harley electronic ignition died of old age this is a hassle-free replacement. If you don't have one, buy the FACTORY Harley service manual and parts book for any Harley you own. Even if you don't do your own wrenching the information is more than worth it, and the parts book makes ordering online after Googling part numbers a breeze. A Reliable Part
Used one of these units when I 1st built the bike in '08. Ran great easy to use and set up. Was a fool and took it off when I was given a Daytona Twin Tech unit ( I have used their product on a few bikes with great success, Just wasn't a success this time, probably heat related) Had given my old Ultima to a bro who is using it. So I went and got a replacement from where I got the Original, Good Ol Jireh Cycles. Got the box in the mail, Slapped it in the bike which took about 45min following the well written instructions ( you can also view the manual on utimaproducts,com) timed the old girl and she was off n running. I've put these units in a few scoots and have always been pleased with their reliability, ease of installation, and really good price. Would I recommend this product? YES, do I find it to be of good quality? YES, and most important question. Would I buy one again? YES

Perfect for high compression engine.
This product was installed into my S&S 117ci motor. It replaced my previous S&S ignition module which struggled to start up my high compression engine. Once I installed this Ultima module my motor started as I pushed the start button. Start up seems to operate just like a push button start up car or truck. Excellent product.
Installed on my 2002 sportster and made a tremendous improvement. My only complaint would be that you have to hardwire it and bypass the original harness. Luckily, I was able to harvest the plug from the old module and splice 3 out of 4 of the wires from the dynatek to the harness. Worked great. Transformed my Sportster
Had an issue with my sportster not starting after about 30 minutes of ride time. It would have to sit for 30 mins to an hour before it would fire. Installed the this in about one hour in dual fire mode and my bike is like new. I didn't realize how much power I was missing out on. Fuel economy is much better and ride is much smoother. Excellent Electronic Ignition for Shovels & Evos
I have used this ignition many times and only 1 of them has had to be replaced on warranty. All the others are still working perfectly. Will replace points type ignition and oem electronic ignition. Very easy to install with easy to read instructions, if you are mechanically knowledgeable. Priced very reasonable. You will not regret buying this complete kit. Installed in my 1979 FLH shovelhead, thumbs up!
Nice thing about using this ignition is that you get rid of the advanced fly weights in the nose cone which can be problematic esp since there are so many poorly made units out there. Easy install
