Replacement receiver
When one of these devices supplied originally with my trackball failed, I shopped around on Ebay for a replacement. This one was purchased and it was easy to use. It was plugged in, Windows loaded its driver and recognised it, then the trackball was switched on and hey presto, it worked. Clever Clever
Reliable and simple to install. Slightly more complex if you want to run more than one device through it - you need to download Logitech's Unifying Software onto your laptop for that. You also need to use this software to "un-unify a device" should the need arise. So a little bit clunky. My last dongle stopped working and it took me a lot of effort to work out the fact. Does what it needs to but not as it was supposed to do
I bought this as the original was lost. Unfortunately, it did not work with my Logitech M185 mouse which was specifically listed as a compatible device. Fortunately, it did work with another much older mouse (M238). I can't say it was good value because it cost almost as much as a new mouse. I can't say it was well designed because it's not that sort of product I can't say it is comfortable because it's plugged into a USB port and you don't need to hold it. Only works as a replacement
I bought this thinking I could use it as an extra dongle for my other devices and just use my keyboard between them without having to have just one that I needed to keep taking out and putting in the aforementions devices. But alas, this is not the case. It did not work on any of the devices by Logitech I would give no stars for this item even though it has 1 I dont like to give a bad review unless in my opinion its true. possible I was unlucky to get a defective one but does not work. would of sent it back but the cost did not weigh up due a promotion I received. Good but could not do what I wanted
Connected easily with Logitech M185 mouse using downloaded Logitech software. I had hoped to use the same mouse with 2 different devices/receivers, unfortunately I have now realised this is not possible. The mouse can only be connected to one receiver at a time. Review of Logitech unifying receiver.
This product does as it says on the tin. Only small niggle was the faff of having to find and install the software that made it go.
