It's genuine Native American/First Nations music created by & to commemorate the ancestors & contemporary Nation Tribes & traditions. It's contemporary but NOT "New-Agey", I love every track esp "the heartbeat lullaby". Bought the cassette tape in 1995 from Survival International (which wore out!), So glad finally have it again on CD. Haunting. The sad/wise words of Chief Joseph et al, the music, "poetry", rhythms, strength, heritage, voices, wonderful contemporary album with genuine Native languages; songs ceremonial & everyday with It's majestic.
