value for money
The dvd arrived very quickly and looked new. Had read the book so wanted to see the film. The film, although not as thorough as the book was one of the best films I have seen in ages. Would recommend

A tear or two may be shed but it is a wonderful film.
What a brilliant film. I had never heard of it until my daughter wanted the book and we saw it was a film too. Thought provoking ,funny, sad, heart rendering and I have to say one of the best films i've seen in along time. Might be a bit upsetting for very young children .

Very good adaptation of "The Book Thief" novel by Markus Zusak
Very good adaptation of "The Book Thief" novel by Markus Zusak. Sophie Nelisse who plays the main character Liesel, is a very engaging character.

The Tragedy of War Revealed.
This film truly brings to life the wickedness of war, the sufferings of ordinary innocent people on all sides and proves that all war should cease. The cast and acting is excellent.
