The plot is simple and the singing is superb.
Both Mario Lanza and Doretta Morrow have glorious voices. It is a shame both died so young. The dvd is worth having just hearing them sing. I had never seen or heard Doretta Morrow sing before. She added a great deal to the movie.

Great movie with great music from Mario Lanza
Loved the movie. Knew of the music, just first time I saw it. It is funny and warm. Then their is Mario Lanza's voice. What a voice it is
