Classic Vamp!
Bela Lugosi blends horror and class to his Dracula character. Being a black and white film brings a true gothic feel to the story. Unlike the British versions of "Dracula," Lugosi's Hungarian accent gives it a Transylvanian flavor. Only one true version of "Dracula", and this is it!

Awesom classis horror movie!
This classic horror movie should be in every horror movie collector's library. By today's standards it might seem somewhat amusing but when it was made it started the vampire "craze" which continues to this day.

comes with both versions. still prefer the original.
got it for the spanish version. heard so much about it. imo it's good & the enfield character is outstanding but I still prefer the OG version. thanks for the dvd.

The true Dracula
When I think Dracula I think of the accent,the burning eyes,the presence. It doesn't get any better. Doesn't reply on blood and gore. Love this representation.

Classic
Although slow and anticlimactic by today's standards, this film is a classic and must see in American cinema. Bella Lugosi was the best Dracula of all time and this movie proves that. If you try to put yourself in the mindset of the time, we were going through the Great Depression and this dark and gloomy story with its slow pacing only helped to heighten the fear of the viewer. This film is a Founding Father of the monster movie genre and therefore, should be seen at least once.

Stick with the original
I bought the Dracula dvd because it had added new music. The music was not very good and not what I expected. The film is still a classic but it's original form is best.
