Great peice of history at a great price!
The mercury dime is one of the most beautiful coins ever to be produced by the US Mint, and to get one in this pristine, certified condition for less than $30 is a must-buy, especially when one considers that an ounce of silver was once selling for $50. Mercury Dime Short Set
The title of "BU UNC" misleads as these Dimes were not Sharp! Not even Bright Brilliant Uncirculated. It is often difficult to observe the true quality of coins unless there are close up pictures. With only two pictures, one of the obverse (front) and one of the reverse (back) it is not easy to determine the detailed condition of the many (15) coins. This is a wonderful coin. It's in Au to Bu quality and has very fine details that is hard to find in a 1940s mercury dime.
